American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Dessner has joined forces with Interscope Records to launch his own record label, Long Pond Music.

The National musician commented 'The idea with it is really to give a home to music which might need more time to develop and to flourish... It's not so much about trying to build some giant empire. It's more just, like, another way to enjoy this and give help to foster other artists' growth'.
